Anamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress. She received an award called the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress in The Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. She can fluently speak French, German English, and Romanian. Her father is a theatre teacher at one of the country's highest-rated drama schools. "The young Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. It was the European Film Promotion Board named her a European Shooting Star in 2008. Alongside her impressive performance in her first film she will also remember her part in her role in the Romanian film "4 months 3 weeks 2 days" which won her numerous prizes, including the European Film Award of Best Actress from the London Film Critics. In 2007, she was in the Romanian movie 4 luni 3 semaines si2 zile (4 Three Weeks, Four Months 4 Months 3 Weeks and 3 Weeks, 2 Days) 4 months 3 weeks 2 days, directed produced by Cristian Mungiu (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days). The film received two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize for the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also a major part of her professional career. In 2008 she played Yasim Anwar in BBC series The Last Enemy. Marinca has appeared in her own Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven. In the film Fury (2014) in which she appeared as Irma, a German woman who served as Emma's aunt.
