Linda Edna Cardellini's parents are businessmen Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). Her parents were born in Redwood City in California. Her parents are of Italian, German (from the paternal grandmother), Irish and Scottish heritage. Linda lived living in her native San Francisco Bay area, California and was the eldest of four children. The acting bug grew in her when she was ten years old when she was cast as a singer in a school's annual Christmas production. The school continued to offer plays and theater for the community. Lily James was born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (5 April 1989). Lily James was an English actor. Her acting career began in the year 2010 with the British television series Just William, in which she was a student at the London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her breakout moment came in the year 2015 when she played the leading role in Cinderella the film of fantasy. She had previously played Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period show Downton Abbey. James went on to portray the role of Countess Natasha Rostova in the television adaptation of War & Peace (2016) and starred in several films, including the action movie Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) and The Dig (2021), as well as the musicals Mamma Mia! and Here We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). The role she played as Pamela Anderson in the biographical series Pam & Tommy (2022) was nominated for the Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
