Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist currently associated with CNBC. She is a co-anchor for the channel's programs 'Squawkon the Street' as well as Closing Bell'. An Ohio native She was not attracted to the world of markets and currencies when she was in college. While she was studying at New York University, she was a part-time intern at an online start-up called ForexTV.com. The first time she worked in the field of business news through this internship. She went on to earn a master's degree in broadcast journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. After that, she did an eight-month internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. Following her return to US in the fall, she was able to work for Bloomberg's offices in New York. She was a TV anchor later. CNBC appointed her in December 2013 to be reporter. Before landing the job at 'Closing Bell', she was a co-anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange and 'Power Lunch'. Eisen has been the co-anchor of 'Squawk on the Street' since 2014. She is among the most revered business journalists today. Since joining CNBC her main focus has been on global consumer news.
